Laiba Memorial Welfare Organization

501(c)3 Nonprofit Organization. EIN: 86-3039563

Laiba Memorial Welfare Organization was founded in 2019 from a moment that demanded compassion and action. Our journey began with a single phone call and a short video from Ghotki, Sindh, Pakistan, showing a man overwhelmed by extreme poverty and desperation, openly threatening to end his life along with his family. The video revealed the depth of his struggle and became a powerful call for immediate help.

We responded by choosing dignity over temporary relief, helping restore stability and hope. That first act defined who we are and shaped the foundation of our organization.

As our work continued, we witnessed another urgent hardship, the daily struggle for clean water. In many remote and desert communities, families walk miles carrying heavy containers just to collect water. While addressing this need, we were confronted with the broader reality faced by thousands of families: lack of food, unsafe shelter, limited access to education, and untreated health conditions.

Among these hardships, preventable blindness stood out. Many elderly men and women were living in darkness due to cataracts, unable to work, care for their families, or live independently. Recognizing that restoring sight restores dignity, we began supporting cataract eye surgeries, giving individuals the chance to see again and reclaim their lives.

Today, our work continues across food security, clean water, education, safe housing, and healthcare. We remain committed to providing families not just relief, but lasting stability, dignity, and hope,so every family can live safely, see clearly, and move forward with confidence.

This is not charity.

This is compassion in action.

WHAT WE DO

 Some lives begin with comfort.

Others begin with struggle.

  • Water Projects – Where Life Begins

For many families, water is not just a need, it is a daily battle.

Miles walked. Containers carried. Thirst endured.”

“At Laiba Memorial Welfare Organization, we bring clean drinking water to the thirsty, turning suffering into relief and restoring dignity with every drop.

  • Home Construction – A Place to Feel Safe

A home should protect… not frighten.”

“Families living in desert , fragile shelters fear every storm, every night.”

“We build safe one-room homes with proper washroom spaces where mothers rest without worry and children sleep without fear.

  • Food & Winter Support – Standing Beside the Needy

Hunger and cold steal dignity quietly.”

“We provide food, flour, groceries, and warm clothes ensuring no family sleeps hungry, cold, or forgotten.”

  • Cataract Eye Surgery From Darkness to Light

“Blindness takes away more than sight,it takes away independence.

Through cataract surgeries, darkness turns into light as we restore vision to those who had lost all hope.”

“Giving sight back is not just medical care… it is giving life back.

  • Scholarship Program  Turning Dreams into Reality

For many students, talent exists… but opportunity does not.”

“Through our scholarship programs, we support students to complete their graduation transforming potential into purpose.

  • School Construction – Where Hope Learns to Grow

Education is not a privilege. It is a right.”

“We construct schools so children can learn with confidence, dream without limits, and build a future beyond poverty.

  • Plant a Tree – Protecting Tomorrow

Our responsibility does not end today.”

“By planting trees, we give back to the earth and protect the generations yet to come.

This is not charity.”
“This is compassion lived.”
